Boys are not smiling

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
I wish to inform all the Npower beneficiaries in Niger Delta Region that there will be a meeting next week to strategizes a way forward should FG failed to attend to us. A date will be announced later.

We can't continue to accommodate this conspiracy against 500,000 Npower beneficiaries by APC's leaders in this country. I have come to the conclusion that if something is not done in opposite direction FG will not attend to us. Our region is the heart of the economy of this country. We the Niger Delta Npower beneficiaries are going to act adversely in order to rescue the entire 500,000 beneficiaries.

We don't want to remain in the program earning #30,000 all we need is absorption or an exit's package of #600, 000 which I know is not too much for FG to provide.

One of our beneficiaries lost his mother few days ago due to brief illness because he couldn't provide the money needed to treat her . The woman flied AKARA (sic) by the road side to sponsor his son in school after the death of her husband. I felt so sad on his behalf that he couldn't provide the money to save his mother.

I could remember how I personally begged my family to vote for President Buhari in 2019 general election because of the promise of absorption made to N power beneficiaries by Afelobi . we can't be used and dumped, we are not against the ideas of taking batch C N power volunteers. All we need is absorption or an exit's package of #600,000 to fall back on. Ms Sadiya Umar Farouq claimed to spend the sum of #850m for ghost students during the covid 19 pandemic lock down and she is saying that FG has no #600,000 exit's package to give each and everyone of us.

Finally, I have come to conclusion that something must be done to truncate the economy of this country before FG will attend to us and that will cost billion of naira to repair. If they can pay Boko Haram that means we should also do otherwise. Most of us have oil pipe lines at our backyard s and we know what to do to it. Even the National Assembly is keeping mute about it despite our protests at ABUJA and other part of the states. We give FG this week to attend to us otherwise....

We the Niger Delta Region N power beneficiaries Say:
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

*WARNING TO HEAD OF SCHOOLS IN OSOGBO/OLORUNDA LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN OSUN STATE*

It has come to our notice that some head of schools (Principals, Vice Principals, Head of Department and Head Masters/Mistress are calling Ex-Npower Volunteers through phone call, ordering them to resume to school. Are you the one employee them ?

EX-NPOWER VOLUNTEERS, hereby calling attention of this unfair action to *OSOGBO and OLORUNDA (N U T)* to warn their members.

*NOTE kiss We want to seriously warn those head of schools to be careful and never step on our toes.

We volunteers have no issues with you. We have worked together for over 3years and you have treated us like your slaves.

Right now that the Federal Government has suspended our appointment, we owe you nothing. Calling and commanding us to report to school is a misuse of power from your own end. We are no more answerable to you, so stop that useless and unnecessary order.

We have studied majority of you when we were with you and we knew you have no good intentions for us. You were only happy with us for serving you and relieving you of serious stress.

Since the closure of schools since March, majority of you didn't care about us. No call or message to ask about our welfare. All you could do now after 5months is to call us to work even when our contract has been suspended.

We will not hesitate to storm your office and fight you physically if you do not stop the empty threat and stupid order. You are not feeding us. You are only fortunate to be leaders.

*Better still, you all have children who are graduates, call them and let them render free service to the government.*

No to empty threat,
No to forceful resumption.

NPower Stipends: More Delay as Sadiya Umar Farouq Fails to Address Disengaged NPower Volunteers

There is likely more delay in paying disengaged NPower volunteers their months of owed stipends as Sadiya Umar Farouq refused to address the matter yesterday.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development appeared before the media to give an update on the numbers of applications received as NPowwr Batch C registration comes to an end.
“No fewer than 5 million candidates have applied for the N-Power programme”-She said.
The Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq, made the disclosure in a statement on Tuesday by her Special Assistant on Strategic Communication, Mrs Halima Oyelade.
In the same vein, the manager of the NPower programme would have issued official notice as to the delay of the stipends but failed to do so.
Disengaged NPower volunteers are hoping to get their march to july stipends, but all plea fall on deaf ears.
Lately, the Osun state disengaged NPower volunteers were begged to resume schools and prepare outgoing classes, but the financial implication was not stated.
Apparently, NPower volunteers who are disengaged are pleading with the authorities to reverse the plan and pay all outstanding stipends, as the covid-19 pandemic is being felt by the unemployed NPower volunteers.

We will pay disengaged NPower Volunteers June, July outstanding stipends (backlog) as soon as FEC approve budget – NSIP Spokesperson (we have no reason holding your stipends, there is no fund available at the moment) which means that there is no money at hand to pay disengaged NPower volunteers, NPower volunteers have to wait, pending when the Federal Executive Council approve the fund presented to the minister as regards to stipends.
The spokesman assured all disengaged NPower volunteers, not to worry over the matter, as soon as FEC approves the budget presented to them, payment will be initiated.
“We have no reason holding your stipends, there is no fund available at the moment, as soon as the FEC approves the Budget we gave them, we will settle all affected NPower volunteers” Illia added.
When asked when will FEC approve the budget, she tactically dodged the questions, declined to tell the audience of the exact time the funds will be approved by the FEC, "we hope when next week comes, something will be said about it at FEC meeting" she disclosed.

As NPower Batch C Kicks Off

By Bilyaminu Gambo Kong-kol
SIR: Now that the federal government is set to absorb another 400,000 N-Power beneficiaries under Batch C of the N-Power programme, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, should ensure that all the pending entitlements of N-Power Batches A and B are paid and they are given opportunities and packages for safe landing.

Given the sheer number of those that have applied – over five million youths – from reports, I suggest that the minister make some changes. There is a need for free and fair screening of the applicants. Let there be justice and equity among the 774 local governments in the country. The ministry must also develop a new strategy for ensuring that the mistake of enrolling those already in gainful employment is not repeated in Batch C.

The federal government should see the large number of applicants as a challenge for it to venture into more in job creation and poverty eradication initiatives. The huge number of N-Power Batch C applicants indicates that the unemployment rate is on the increase, and if it is not tackled, insecurity would continue to be the order of the day.

*Tips* initially the 36 state and Npower volunteers exco have visited different radio station for interview and they did well in all the speech and presentations
.
But now
Government came up with a plan to collect 5million from every station that is use by youths to protest against anything this government is doing or agree to interview anyone that will speak otherwise , this came lately after our last planned interview with AIT TV station in Lagos , upon reaching their AIT claimed they can't interview us again as they don't have 5million to pay as ransom
.
Read this And understand the heading
Other 36Npower Volunteers makes arrangement with the Npower volunteers of lagos to visit AIT TV on behalf of the excos to schedule an interview
.
They did and
AIT agreed and fixed Friday 14/08/2020 and time was 4pm
.
Then Other state Npower excos where communicated then they embarked on the journey but upon reaching Lagos sadly AIT said they can't give us chance again as they don't have the 5million to pay to fg
.
A strong warning came to them lately after they agreed to interview the out going Npower volunteers
.
And as this happened the 36 state and FCT Npower volunteers came out of the studio and made a video of appeal for permanency plus a enough is enough message to the government
.
Watch the video to hear the strong message
Video: 36 States NPower Volunteers Appeal For Perm... https://npvn-nationwide..com/2020/08/video-36-states-npower-volunteers.html?spref=tw
.
Next in line is a mega protest to presidency etc this will be communicated soonest
.
Read the update about AIT on how it goes below
.
Dear npower beneficiaries
I really want to use the opportunity to thank you all for your support in taking this struggle to the next level . I could see the eagerness to the outcome of the interview which was displayed yesterday but I am very sorry to announce that our agreement which was initially binding before we left our various places of abode to Lagos hit the rocks when we got to Lagos for circumstances we could not explain .
The editors started singing a new song and tagged our topic an anti-government campaign, we pleaded and protested but it seems our plea fell on deaf ears because they were nonchalant to hear claiming that they don't have 5million to pay as fine we still pleaded that we came from states that is farther from Lagos still the plea fell on deaf ears its crystal clear the government knows our plan and they are fighting tooth and nail to ensure they retard our move.
.
*Youths have suffered !*.
.
*But enough is enough*
.
*Share to as many group pls*

*ABUJA NPOWER PROTESTS*

They sit down in their comfort zone and make noise.

Under normal circumstances, protests and demonstrations suppose to be rocking the states. But they're there expecting others to go and fight for them.

Buhari knew them well when he called them LAZY.

*Freedom has never come on a platter. Throughout history, freedom has always come by struggle, either peaceful or violent*

Please don't stay in your comfort zone and comment on social media.

Come out and protest your right to gainful employment.

*Nigerian jobs are for Nigerians, not for family members of politicians*

Minister For Humanitarian Affairs Deactivates Comments On Twitter Account

As NPower volunteers begins to express their dissatisfaction towards the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq took to Twitter to deactivate commenting on her Twitter account.
Meaning, NPower volunteers can no longer make comment, suggestion, or advice. The Minister is the chief custodian of the NPower scheme, which recently disengaged 500,000 NPower volunteers without paying two months stipends.
Meanwhile, disengaged NPower volunteers have flooded the official Facebook handle of the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
NPower Volunteers are still pleading to the Government to reverse their disengagement and pay all owed stipends as the pandemic ravages the nation.
