Los Blancos made history as no team had retained the trophy in the competition's modern format, before they claimed an impressive 'Duodecima' ('Twelfth' in Spanish).
Real, meanwhile, had not won La Liga and the European Cup in the same season since 1958.
And Perez looked in awe at all of the cups in Real's trophy cabinet as he stood for a photoshoot on Wednesday.
Real's Champions League victory almost guarantees Cristiano Ronaldo a fifth Ballon d'Or title when the award is handed out at the end of the year, which would bring him level with Lionel Messi; over the past nine years the pair have shared the trophy.
Portuguese maestro Ronaldo, 32, scored an impressive brace as Los Blancos hammered the Bianconeri in the Welsh capital, in this season's showpiece event.
