Arewa threat must be rescinded... But I still think that threat is necessary to clear them that nobody is dependent on the Ibos. Not even SS people. If they form political party, I'm sure even SS won't support yeebos talkless of SW. We dislike arrogant baffoons. 1 Like |

APC we have representative in Senate and Reps. We have States and Gov. We need no political party. IPOB is not a political party or into politics. We simply need constitution provision for a referendum as was the case wen Adamawa joined Nigeria and Southwest Cameroon left Nigeria. 3 Likes |

Did Nigeria formed political party before they gotten independence What kind of baseless suggestion in this You all know that once every regions go their separate ways that the north will never survive without Biafrans oil. Bring the cattle and yam for benchmarking the north will refused yet they are eating Biafra resources without contributions. Let the north rule their 19 states resources, let Biafra rule theirs resources without interfering. Then will know who is who. 3 Likes |

yarimo: My brother you are right. Emeka Agbari - Ojukwu still came back from exile to contest first as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and later as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And you know what? These useless Biaffrauds did not vote for him. So, we students of history will not be surprised to see the albino called Nnamdi Kanu contesting for a position in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, that is if we Yorubas have not sacrificed him to the god of iron, because the gods love the blood and head of albinos. |

juman: Ojukwu did not campaign well enough in the South West, or the Middle Belt. At least he tried, reach Kaduna, and Kano (where the then Emir , his old friend, received him as an honored guest) Plus his rallies outside Igbo land were attended by mainly Igbos. That's not how you build national support for a national election. I accept PDP probably rigged the 2003 election (see the results from places like Rivers for example). But Obasanjo too also campaigned heavily, jumping from state to state., and building support from a wide variety of tribes, states, and regions. Even today, Obasanjo has his tentacles' all over Nigeria. That's how you win national elections....a lesson people like Buhari did not learn until the run up to 2015. 1 Like |

Party politics is so divisive and when u now form parties based on ethnic lines as we did have in d pre-war era where u had NPC in the north, NCNC in d east and AC in the west then u re already destroy what is left of what keeps the ethnic nationalities together. Nigeria wud ve been great if ethnicity and corruption is eliminated but sadly there has ,there is and there will be no basis for Nigeria's unity yesterday, today and forever more. Simple the way d former USSR states or the splitting of Czechslovakia into Czech and Slovakia, or the break up of d former Yugoslavia along ethnic lines into Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovenia and now d autonomous region of Kosovo is just d way out. 4 Likes |

I seem to recall somewhere that parties formed in Nigeria cannot hold secessionist views (I might be wrong). So, IPOB, MASSOB would do better to rub minds with groups such as OPC, and even the Arewa People's Congress....to form a party that won't outright advocate for secession...probably for gradual devolution of powers from Abuja.....then secession eventually. It might take long..(the road to Scottish independence referendum of 2014 took some 80-90 years)..but they might get there. Remaining a regional group may be attractive...but it doesn't get the job done. 1 Like |
