Some of this protest smacks of sheer stupidity. These people have never called the House of Rep members and Senator (Phillip Tanimu Aduda) to question as regards the development efforts and interest of the indegenes of the FCT. As it stands today in Nigeria, everybody is marginalized whether Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba, Edo etc etc. the only persons that are not marginalized is the political class, who have apportioned the nations wealth for their family and friends. 1 Like |

Gbagyi, Gade, Gwandara, Gananaga own Abuja, but all Ministers of FCT have been Hausa and Fulani. Nigerians in the South have now seen that AREWA which those Hausa and Fulani youths asked Igbos to leave does not include Abuja. Benue tribes (Tiv, Odoma and Igede) have also discounted themselves from the threat including other Middle Belt (Fulani Northern rulers prefer North Central and hate the word Middle Belt) Igbos and Southerners in Abuja have always voted for the Gbagyi candidates during Senatorial, House of Reps and LGA elections to reduce the marginalization by the Hausa/Fulani who always occupy the Ministerial position and have resisted attempts to declare Abuja a Mayoralty with the same status as State Governors. 3 Likes |
