REFLECTIONS.

Problem Lover or Problem Solver

Problems and challenges are not alien to humans, in fact, we come face to face with multitude of such on a daily basis, but when problem and challenges roar their heads, our response to them is what defines the individual as a Problem Lover or Solver.

Being too analytical of the details and variables of a problem and not showing the same level of energy or even more in solving the problem, such qualifies the individual as a problem lover. But the problem solver is more tuned to ensure the smoke doesn't go higher and work assiduously to quench the fire, that is the only focus, so when the problem solver is being too analytical, he is being too analytical on the details of the solution and not the problem.

In our everyday interaction, whether face to face or over the phone, there is a brain to brain connection that is established. Now, the brain being the centre or origin of all forms of emotion in usually the first to feel the impact of our every interaction. Positive emotion can spread from one person to another, same with negative emotion.

Thus, such emotional outbursts and explosions such as angst, shouting, frustration, anger etc in the face of a problem that needs more of generation of solutions rather than generation of more problems only points to the person as a problem lover.

At the end of the day, the negative emotions displayed by the problem lover rubs on the other person and then bad blood and more bad blood is created.

Being analytical of a problem isn't a bad stuff, but the good stuff is having both eyes and mind and heart focused more on the solution of the problem. As a bad farmer spreads bad seeds across the length and breadth of his farm and reap multiple folds of bad crops, so a problem lover spreads negative emotions across the heart and mind of the next person and only make things go worse.
