I read an article here on Naira land which gave 8 reasons why Davido is better than Wizkid. I will counter that opinion with Reasons.
Why Wizkid is better than Davido


1. Lyrical Content
Wizkid is known to have more and meaningful lyrical content, and yea he writes his own song. Davido has a very controversial history with fellow artistes the likes of Password, Runtown about Song Theft. No credible accusation has been labelled against Wiz about Theft of songs.

2. International Success
Going Back to Basic is a term Davido uses to qualify his failure in the international scene. He failed to make any major impact in the International scene, Compared to Wizkid he is continually proving himself in the international scene including hit songs with the likes of Drake, Chris Brown, TY Dolla Sign, Wale, Major Lazer, Vybz Kartel, Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd. With studio projects on going with Sia, Rihanna, Justin Bieber. He is also currently on a radio tour in the US. or should we mention the awards he has received internationally?

3. Respect in The Industry
Wizkid commands more respect in the industry when compared to Davido. Getting a collabo with Wiz is actually a remarkable feat in the music industry.

4. Number of Hit Songs.
Wizkid's first studio album had 80% hit songs compared to Davido's first studio album. With hits like No Lele, Love my Baby, Pakuromo, Ojuelegba, Daddy Yo, Come Closer, Sound it to mention but a few.

5. Networth
In a list released recently by FORBES recently which ranks the Richest artistes in Africa, Wizkid was ranked number 7 ahead of Davido.

6. Record Label and Signings
Wizkid has more successful artistes under his Starboy stead we have the likes of Mr Eazi, Legendary Beats, Efya, compared to Davido's "Video Vixens"

7. Background and Beginning
Wizkid made it on his own.Funded and supported by Banky W while Davido sat down and ate off his Father’s wealth and scandals to promote himself and his songs.

8. Fashion Aura
Wizkid's dress sense is far far better than Davido's. This is glaring in their music videos and their everyday lifestyle. Wizkid is also more handsome than Davido am sure the girls will agree to that.
