You can’t Islamise Nigeria, Apostle Suleiman warns Buhari by Johnnyessence(m): 5:42pm On Jun 18, 2017
President of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle
Johnson Coleman has warned President
Muhammad Buses, saying he cannot Islamic
Nigeria. The Apostle who expressed outrage at the
removal of Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) as a
subject of study from the secondary school
curriculum described it as a move to Islamic
Nigeria, which he said can never happen.
In a statement issued by Ph rank Shabby, spokesman
of the church, Apostle Coleman also said that
President Muhammad Buses, by this new policy,
has confirmed that he set out to Islamic the
country soon after being sworn in on May 29, 2015.
According to the fiery preacher, the decision to
scrap CRK as a subject in the curriculum but only to
be studied as a theme in civic education while
leaving Islamic/Arabic studies as a subject to be
studied in the secondary school curriculum is a
deliberate plot by the Buses administration, among
other schemes, to eliminate Christianity or at best
reduce it to insignificance in Nigeria.
“The new curriculum which is the brain-child of the
Nigeria Educational Research Council and which is
mischievously crafted to force Islamic Studies down
the throat of non adherents is unjust,
discriminatory, a subtle attempt at islamisation,
and therefore unacceptable.”
“This is a well orchestrated and articulated plot. Let
nobody try to fool Nigeria that it was a mistake or
a coincidence. Why is it that CRK would be removed
as a subject to be studied from the secondary
school curriculum while Islamic/Arabic studies is
retained? This is a plan from hell and it shall not
stand,” he declared.
Apostle Coleman also noted that the policy has
been introduced at a time when Fulani herdsmen
are on rampage in many parts of the country and
just before the “so called Arewa youths” who gave
Nigeria of Igbo extraction living in the North an
order to quit the region before October 1 .
“Over 7000 people have been killed by these Fulani
herdsmen with our security forces unable to stop
the bloodshed. So called Arewa youths backed by
some discredited elders have also issued a
reasonable ultimatum to Igloo people without any
reprisals from the Buhari government. So, is it a
coincidence that Christian Religious Knowledge has
been expunged from the school curriculum?” he
asked.
The revered cleric however called on the Federal
Government to reverse what he termed the
offensive policy and immediately restore Christian
Religious Knowledge to the curriculum. He also
commended the Christian Association of Nigeria
(CAN) for being at the forefront of seeking to
redress the anomaly.
“This evil policy must be reversed immediately.
What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) must be
restored to the school curriculum. And I’m happy
that the CAN has taken up the battle to ensure that
those who seek to banish our faith do not succeed.
We will continue to speak out until satan and his
agents are put to shame”, he declared.
Similarly, he called on the government to stem the
tide of consistent attacks by Fulani herds men as
well as deal with those giving ultimatum to people
from an ethnic group to vacate the north.
“For as long as Fulani herds men continue to kill,
rape and burn people’s homes without restraint, in
the event that the safety of an ethnic group cannot
be guaranteed in any part of the country, then
Nigeria should know that it is not a coincidence.
And my God shall not fold arms while the devil and
his children seek to destroy the destiny of Nigeria”,
he declared.
“We have the strength of character, the courage
and the conviction to mount a sustained campaign
in defense of justice, and in defense of our religion.
We will not give up our religious practice because
of someone else’. Nigeria belongs to us all and not
for a few bigots who currently occupy positions of
authority,” he said.
The Apostle also said that bigotry, hate and
intolerance by anybody- be he or she a Muslim,
Christian, Buddhist or Jew is indefensible and
should be condemned.
“The earlier Buhari’s men come to terms with the
fact that Nigeria is a secular state and cannot be
Islamised or made a Christian State under any
guise, the better for everyone.”
He warned that should anyone think that he can go
ahead with the curriculum , then he or she should
be ready for the mother of all battles, the
consequences of which can only be imagined.
Suleman said it is the collective duty of all Nigerians
to oppose and despise all bigots in power, just as
he called for a law to punish bigotry severely
enough, so as not to make it fashionable or normal
in the eyes of our children.
The church also demanded a return to the old
curriculum which will give pupils of Christian faith
all the moral teachings which Christian Religious
Knowledge (CRK) offers.

The best thing is to protest on the evil input of arabic language. How could they input such a language into our educational curriculum. This very bad. They should reverse their action.

People should should come and see the biggest threat to our country not ipod or separation or corruption. Note: religious extremist or tribal agenda is the number one reason Nigerian is threatening since 1960 this is the real problem. The sucide bombers association are useless set of religion to core they never offer anything meaningful in Nigeria. They are a waste to human existence. Woe onto them. Keep your anus religion to yourselves. Rubbish.

Islamic was never empose on anyone. The useless apostle just like his CAN simpletons brothers join Arabic together with Islam. Not knowing Arabic is a language. Infact we have Arab Christians.

Secondly It is optional: Either you study Arabic Language or French Language.

Also: The hypocrite did not tell us Whether Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK) was also removed from the curriculum or not.

There are 4 different things here:

Christians Religious Knowledge (CRK - scrapped into Civic)

Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK - scrapped into Civic)

French or Arabic Language ( Remain the same)

May God save from this genetically modified hatred

If you alleged prostitute pastor and your Nairaland illiterate Zombies fail to explain to us which Subject is Islamic Arabic studies, may your hatred consume you.

I don't just understand Nigerian Christians. Our schools have been offering French and Arabic long before Buhari became president. How it suddenly became a tool to Islamize the country now is what I cannot understand. Besides, the subject is optional, so what's the stress all about?

Nigerian Christians should be vigilant, irrespective of political party affiliation. We must unite and resist every subtle islamization policy of this sectarian government.

We must do this for the sake of posterity if we hope to have an identity, land and heritage that we can bequeath to unborn generations.

They started with Usman Dan Fodio, then Boko Haram; They have unleashed their marauding herdsmen on our communities, cities and farmlands.
And now they have instituted their religion and the language, history and culture that bolters it (Arabic) on our education curriculum.

Yet we still have some self-righteous, delusional Southerners who see nothing wrong with this.

Sometimes, or most times, we like to carry the unnecessary and blow it out of proportion. I'm still wondering why this could be so.

CAN should raise a team of Christian lawyers to take up this issue. It is against the Nigerian Constitution.
