Here are 9 great resources you should use and know how to use as a student
1. Google search: most student don’t know how to search Google for important information such as PDF and other important documents. It can be stressful if you want to search for some material on Google without knowing how.
Here is a simple tip: whenever you want to search for any material, either PDF, PowerPoint, MP3, JPEG or any other format, use the following format: type the name of the material or the topic of interest and add the extension of the document type you need. For example, if you need a PDF material on photosynthesis, search Google for: ‘Photosynthesis. Pdf’ (without the apostrophe). It will bring all relevant materials on Photosynthesis that are in PDF format. You can also search by the name of a particular book if you know the exact title and add .pdf. You can do the same for PowerPoint, (.ppt), JPEG (.jpg), audio (.Mp3), video (.Mp4) or any other extension. To search for journal and other research materials on Google, use the Google scholar via scholar.google.com, instead of the general Google search, you are likely to get refined search this way.

YouTube videos are alternatives for you as a student to learn and see in practical what you have read. To use YouTube, just type the topic in the search box plus Tutorial or practical or lecture or simply use How to. You will be amazed at the number of available materials on a single topic.
