Well, due to the babyish imagination of the Babylonian back in those days and no knowledge of what transpires in the out of space sphere. it was said that, the Babylonian would prefer that a soul falls from that great height than for a single brick should fall from such great height. If a person falls, to them, it doesn't count, but when a brick falls, it was seen as a wasted effort and an impediment to their goal.
