biztalkenya: Yes it is necessary to export oil since our economy and budget depends on it. I see your thinking of export banner like USA used to have. Right now it's not feasible. It's would be better too look to explore options of building up refining capacity and exploring for more oil in Chad Basin, Benue and Ondo Bitumen reserves. |

wait till Dangote's refinery has started working, then you can ask the question again, this time, we should export petroleum products- the govt can shut down their refineries and properly upgrade them or kuku sell dem to private pple to run it better |

Blue3k:Why not export refined crude oil and employ X 3 or 4 the people employed? We prefer sharing method that favours quick money. Same story goes for agric. We export cocoa, cashew nut and import its processed output with scarce forex. |

Desyner:. Didn't advocate sharing just said more exploration and build up of refining capacity. Both are these are currently being increased by private companies. |
