I'm attaching The Warm Up. . . I don't think it's as good as The Come Up though.
But it's got Lights Please. . . so it's still top drawer.

I think he's the most talented rapper we've ever seen from Africa.
He doesn't struggle with punchlines and wordplay, he just tells us what he sees.
That's what's good about him.

That's the problem . . . I wanted Wale to sound like he's in a different world of his own.
I saw DBR's verse about the Niger Delta and I knew how rich Nigeria is in stories and events.
If Wale stayed in Lagos for a week, his whole persona will change.

Rappers are so predictable these days, first album is about 'I'm hustling', second album is 'now I'm rich, they hate me' . . . then third album they run out of stories.
I don't get the whole thing about ''haters'' . . . even my sixteen year old sister thinks she has haters . . .
