[s]It is exciting how this mirrors the advancement of the Jews in America. And why it is appalling that this isn't commonplace amongst blacks in the US and South Africa.

The goal of every parent is that his/her lad achieves a better societal standing than him-/herself. That happened in the 40's when Jews were running away from persecution in Europe and entered America with virtually nothing. From working blue-collar jobs, they placed emphasis on education and made certain the next generation were well-equipped to compete for white-collar jobs.

The rest they say is history.

On the flip-side, you have the blacks in USA and RSA who've evolved from having slave mentality to having entitlement mentality. For over 40 years since segregation ended, you've had blacks doing the bottom-of-the-ladder jobs, and their kids and grand kids ain't even well-equipped to move up the ladder. You have a community where the majority of kids dream more about being a rap star or athlete than being an investment banker or software engineer. Where a Jay Z makes more sense than a Ben Carson.

And in an increasingly-diverse country that is yearning for more minority representation in the workforce, there just ain't enough black Americans to fill spots. Rather, spots are filled by African Americans (like Nigerian Americans who are the most educated group in the US).

And this isn't just another baseless rant to take a swipe at the black community in the USA and RSA. These folks are in countries that work. Israel was created to appease the Jews, today Israel is tethered to the West, despite being geographically located in the volatile Middle East, with lots of opportunities going east-side, with vital contributions in the fields of intelligence, security, agriculture, life sciences, et cetera. And that's all thanks to the 15 million Jews in America (to put that in perspective, that is 5% of the American population).

It begs the question, what would Africa look like right now if blacks in the USA (global superpower for over half a century) and RSA (the only black-dominated 2nd world country) got their sh*t together. It isn't just about the indirect impact they'd have by pressuring their governments to in turn pressure African governments to put a kibosh on the siphoning, rights infringement, misgovernance; and for their governments to take a harder stance on accepting stolen, illicit cash. There will also the direct impact of an educated, advanced black community in these countries interacting and prodding African countries to move forward in STEM, cultural awareness, industrialization et cetera. At least the interaction is already visible in entertainment and fashion, which just shows the opportunity is there to achieve more.

Today, you have a Swiss government giving Nigeria conditions before returning Abacha's loot (I admit it isn't that outlandish considering that earlier released loot had been stolen again). But would the Swiss government do the same if it held the loot of a corrupt Israeli or Japanese prime minister? The Jewish/Japanese communities in America would cry blue murder and their lobbyists would force the hand of Washington to demand explanation from the Swiss.
