This is why we ask for a restructured Nigeria.

If there is any part of this deal that requires the Federal Government approval, they will simply sit on it to frustrate the project because it is in a part of Nigeria they hate.

That is the nucleus of the agitation for self governance. it has little to do with fiscal federalism. But too much power is in the central government that nobody can develop its state with approval from Abuja. Which is very wrong in a big diverse country like Nigeria.

The deal was actually facilitated by the federal government through NNPC.

You get time to answer some of these statements.

Don't be surprised they never took out time to go through the details.

Dangote's own is a staggering 650,000 barrels per day capacity it's the biggest in Africa. That should take care of our domestic consumption and some for imports.

Dont be childish federal government negotiates deals like this all the time. The coal deal in Enugu is annother example. Indonesia and Nigeria have been having talks all year this is the results. Google it and see the trend.

Also speaking Third Secretary for Economic Affairs, Indonesian Embassy in Nigeria and the leader of the Indonesian delegation, Mr. Dwiyatna Widinugraha stated that the visit was a follow-up to the earlier visit by the Indonesian envoy to NNPC, the bilateral meeting between the Indonesian Trade Minister with his Nigerian counterpart as well as the visit of Indonesian Prime Minister to Nigeria.

The country’s decision to build a refinery in Nigeria was coming few weeks after Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Harry Purwanto, had expressed the interest of the country in purchasing more crude oil from Nigeria.
