Also not that the N341, 500 can be paid in two (2) installment. 60% upfront then 40% later.

It is inclusive of hostel accommodation.

Point 1. Founded in 2008 with full operational licence and accredited courses.

The University commenced operation in January 2008.

Fountain University, Osogbo (FUO), Osun State Southwest Nigeria also got full certification from the National University Commission (NUC) to operate as a Private University in Nigeria.


On August 13th, 2015, a letter of attestation signed by the Executive Secretary of the National University Commission, Professor Julius A. Okegie, was presented to the Authorities of the University.

The letter listed Fountain University as one of the 10 new tertiary Institutions presented with full operational licence in the Country.

The letter of attestation conveying the message reads; having fulfilled the National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions, Act, Cap E3 Laws of the Federations of Nigeria 2004 and completed the required Post Probation Period. Fountain University is thereby, fully licensed to operate as a Private University in Nigeria.

The NUC has also awarded full accreditation status to all academic programmes at Fountain University presented for accreditation in June, 2015.

The full accreditation status which subsists till 2020 include the following programmes; Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration; Computer Science & Microbiology and; Economics, Political Science& Sociology.

Other Programmes earlier approved by the NUC include Mass Communication, Bio-chemistry and Nutrition, Industrial and Environmental Chemistry, Physics and Electronics, among others.

Fountain, just within nine (9) years of its establishment has carved a niche for itself as a pacesetting institution in terms of learning, character building and service to humanity as it started on a strong footing and now beginning to sail unhindered to greater heights.
