Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz The Bahd Guy has criticized Nigerian artists over their lyrics which seeks to glorify prominent people of questionable characters.

Falz in a video interview with Hip TV, said; the culture of praise-singing internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys is at the detriment of the society.

He further advised that as an entertainer, lyrics of songs should be aimed at encouraging good morals for the young generation of Nigerians to emulate.

However, this statement from Falz has generated a lot of controversial comments on Social Media as lots of Nigerians have take to Twitter to call out Falz over his comments in the video.

While some believe Falz is right, others totally disagree with the notion that Nigerian artists are encouraging crime with their lyrics.

Let them keep glorifying it,all I know is that in this life you reap what you. It will always come back to you. On day,they will be duped of their hard earned money too,so that they will know how fraud victims feel.

Watched the video on Instagram earlier today and took time to read comments that followed. It's appalling to see so many shallow minded Nigerians castigating him and trying to talk him down because he addressed a menace in our society. I was amazed to know that such number of Nigerians who are either internet fraudsters, girlfriends of internet fraudsters or beneficiaries of internet frauds abound in Nigeria.

It's quite worrisome. This guy just told entertainers not to make fraudulent activities lucrative and people had to call him names, claim he's lucky to have a wealthy father, blah blah and blah. But the fact still remains and we should not make a 16year old just out of high school to aspire to become a fraudster instead of exploring his talents
