Jason pulled up the insentient Davina. He was going to fulfill his friend's dying wish, however he was also going to fulfill his own promise to the dead.
He wouldn't bury him until he killed those bastards. As he picked up the unconscious girl, he was tempted to go back to his friend. He hadn't gone several hours without him since they met and the first time that had happened had cost him a gargantuan loss.

He instantaneously moved towards the camp. As he got to the camp gate, he maneuvered into a silent room and gently placed Davina on a bed, whatever python had done too her was working effectively. Now that he had fulfilled his friend's wish, that Davina is safe, it's time to make them pay, not with silver or gold, not with pile of clothes or food, but with their God given lives.

Jason hastenly walked towards the beasts' lair. No one had ever challenged them in their territory and left in a piece. Jason soon saw the sons of different bitches, the bastards were busy smoking under a tree. When they saw him some meters away, they stood on alert. Perhaps, they thought Jason was there to rendezvous, little did they know that something cataclysmic was about to happen.

He stood with hs fist held so tightly that the nails penetrated his palms ,causing some blood to mix with the water that moves freely from his huge arms down to his fists. His irate silence and wrathful red eyes were enough to cause great trepidations among his adversaries. The time had come for them to fully pay for their atrocities , their cruelty and enormous wickedness had caused his friend's death and their five lives weren't enough to replace Mike's, however he was going to take them criminally.


Now that he had seen his friend crueltly killed, he had gone berserk and would attack the killers like a beast he was, at least who he believed to be his killers.


When Davina returned to her state of consciousness, she was dumbstrucked. She wondered how she got in a soft bed after the hideous act she had earlier encountered. She tried to remember what had happened but the ache that emanated from her head caused a pauper remembrance.

Little by little, her brains connected and she remembered the Diabolical scene. How he was about to be raped and perhaps killed, how Mike had saved her and how they had fought off the bastards. But then, who had knocked her out? She wondered. The person was very fast, strong and undoubtedly trained. Could it be one of the men they had earlier driven away? He thoughts were unending. Then she realized she had to find Mike.

She sprout up from the bed and ran outside. She checked his room but he wasn't there. She searched and asked around but no one had seen him. She had searched everywhere but one, the beasts den. She scampered towards their territory and met Jason there.

Jason's appearance was scaring, his eyes depicted anger and great rage. She didn't see Mike around nor had he seen him with his inseparable friend. She was afraid to accept what her instincts were telling get. Davina stood at a distance watching, knowing what was about to happen would lead to loss of lives. She just hope Jason survived those five men. Stopping him at that time was out of questions, she knew when furious, no one could stop the dragonet, not even the gods.

The idea of what could have happened to Mike had left her shaken, but the battle that loomed before her immediately commanded her full attention, she planned to join in if things went haywire for Jason.

Suddenly, Jason charged all at once, trying to break past them and get towards Tiger, their leader. Tiger knew that without a doubt, for in the midst of his angry groans and roars, he could feel his anger.

Jason repeatedly attacked, landing blow after blow on the for men, blood flew from the wounds it inflicted. Spittle dripped from Jason's mouth as he roared at his assailants in rage. Two of them soon dropped dead to the ground.

As Jason's desperation grew, so did the force of his attacks, until it was clear to the two other men that they had no choice than to run. But Jason wouldn't give them the chance to as he held their necks with each hand, he screamed In rage, strangling them slowly while his eye locked into tiger's. Soon after he dropped their dead bodies. Without hesitating for a bit, he charged at his main prey.

Both men fight was fearsome, both inflicting injuries on each other. But after some minutes, Tiger's strength began to ebb away. It appeared to him that he wasn't fighting a human but demon. Jason wasn't even defending, he was attacking him like a stray leopard.

Slowly, Jason worked him father away from Davina's sight perhaps to spare her the sight of the bloodbath that was sure to come. But Davina followed. From around the bends, in the tunnel came the screeches and shrill of both men, punctuated by flesh hitting flesh. Davina reached beneath her jacket and took out her weapon, clearly intending to help Jason. But then another sound intruded her. An agonizing in its intensity and pain. A second later, the ground seemed to shake from the force of something heavy falling. Jason returned from around the bends, blooded but alive.

He dragged along with him Tiger's dead body towards the forest where Mike's body was laid. Davina tagged along. When they got there, Jason was baffled for Mike's body had vanished. He had lost his friend, both soul and flesh
