First of all, what the EFCC guy wrote in Igbo is wrong. No thanks to western education.

He wants to say "ijiji ntị chịrị n'eso ozu ala n'ili". which translates literaly "the deaf fly goes to grave with the corpse".

Of course, what he's saying is "if you no dey hear word na prison you go end up".

What is this one saying?

Oga there is difference between "n inyi" and " n ili".

There first means to languish while your version means grave.

What I wrote there is the proper way the adage is said. The corpse goes to the grave/tomb not to waste. Even if he wanted to say to waste, it should read n'ihi which is Igbo izugbe, not n'inyi.

EFCC has lost their Fear Factor venom like that of Arsenal invincible team, and Chelsea of mourinho first Era, they have been reduced to an ordinary tool of oppression. They have lost 80% of all their cases in court against the pen thieves that steals in Billions but go extra mile against unfortunate Yahoo boys. Not supporting crime but EFCC has lost it just like the Chelsea team of mourinho 2nd era before he was sacked.
I think the problem is with the judiciary and not necessarily the EFCC, james ibori was cleared of all 172 charges against him by our judiciary, same charges he pleaded guilty to in the UK, there are too many similar cases already...all it takes is to press the right numbers in naija.

Since it is now the happening thing for public figures to speak languages that everyone does not understand as was started by "our leader" at the top, let me go and learn my language very well!
