Do You hold a master’s degree and would want to further your studies in any PhD fields of Information Communications Technology (ICT), Food security and Mining, materials and minerals engineering? If your answer to any of these is yes, then application is open for PASET Regional Scholarships and Innovation Fund for PhD Scholars in three eligible thematic areas are Information Communications Technology (ICT), Food security and Mining, materials and minerals engineering. Applicants from Sub-Saharan Africa are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The Partnership for skills in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (PASET) was launched in 2013 by the Governments of Senegal, Ethiopia, and Rwanda with facilitation by the World Bank.
PASET aims to address systemic gaps in skills and knowledge in Sub-Saharan Africa as compared to the rest of the world and also to help develop and build the selected African training institutions to have the capacity and technical know-how to train Engineers, Technicians and scientists to meet the demands of Africa economies.

Scholarship Award:
The program gives money related support to up to 4 years of the Ph.D. program with a yearly bolster bundle of US$ 24,400. Students admitted to the program will get a stipend of $14,400 every year to cover costs, for example, go to/from home nation, medical coverage, everyday costs, and so on. Number of Scholarships: The number of awardees for this year will be up to 50. Plans are being made to increase the number in the future.
