The 11th Electricity distribution company (Disco) has come out to announce to the public that they are working toward achieving the end of using estimated bill. Mr. Azu Obiaya who is the chief executive officer of association of Nigeria electricity distribution (ANED), released a statement last week; saying Disco would meet their metering target which are captured by performance agreements with the bureau of public enterprises (BPE). According to vanguard, The statement, which clarified the stoppage of estimated billing methodology for unmetered large power users, also called Maximum Demand (MD) customers, noted that residential customers that were yet to be metered should continue to pay their estimated bills.
