As for me, I will never beat my beloved sister-in-law, that will be domestic violence which the world is against. I will also not report my beloved sister-in-law to anybody because once you do that, the families may call everyone together and try to "settle" it while your mother nurse her wounds.

This is what I will do, I will go to my beloved sister-in-law's mother's house and beat the hell out of the woman but I will make sure she does not die, just small faint is enough for her. Once she faints and wakes up, I will walk away in peace. That will make the score 1 -1 . Then, her own family too will feel what it means to see ones mother beaten up. Maybe, just maybe both families can try and "settle" the matter then.

There's something you're not telling us. It's either your mom has being nagging her up to a point that your brother's wife reacted or that your mom wants to stage a play. No right thinking lady fights with her mother in-law and no right thinking mother in-law abuses her daughter in-law. So there more to it. Some will say she shouldn't have hitted your mom but mom may have asked for it.

Any trained woman who has any form of sense upstairs will not fight with her mother in law.

My fathers mother once slapped my mother during Xmas, she didn't react one bit. She smiled n left for her room. My mother is very fierce, never docile n does not take nonsense from any living thing, But she knows this issue is solely for her husband n his mother, she kept her reaction to see what my father will do wen he comes back. My father came back n she was very satisfied with his actions.
