RULES FOR THE NEXT STAGE OF THE COMPETITION

The second stage of the competition begins tonight 7/10/2017.

Candidates are advised to strictly adhere by these guidelines.

STORYLINE

A spy is sent on a very dangerous mission by his superiors. It isn't his freewill to be on the mission, why? A person he holds dear is held captive by the people he works for and the only way to set them free is by going on the mission. He successfully completes the mission but he's betrayed by his employers and the person that's held captive is killed, betraying their agreement.

Write a story from the perspective of the Spy. The direction the story takes is entirely up to you.

I have taken all your feedbacks into consideration and here's my final conclusion.

The word length for this round is the same as the first, 1000 words. (This is so writers thrill us with their stories rather than just making it a flash fiction and also because it's what everyone has been clamoring for)

The deadline for the submission of stories is dated Friday 14/10/2017. Time: 11.59pm. There would be no room for an extended time of time of deadline.

Candidates are advised to please "meticulously proof read and edit" their works. Spelling and grammatical mistakes would be frowned at.

Candidates are to submit their stories in MS Word Format (.doc, .docx) only!! Those who are not opportune to use a system, should please make sure their work is sent in an excellent and readable format.

Candidates are advised to make use of paragraphs in their works. I will not paragraph your work as I did in the first stage. Each story would be posted here directly without any form of edit. A simple hit of the Enter key is all you need in new sentences just as I do in this post so you find it readable.

Candidates are to submit their stories to the email "Chikerelance@gmail.com"

Candidates are to take note that they would be judged only from this current story and not combined with their stories in the first stage.

Also, as a result of all the feedback I have received, the winners of the competition would be decided by we the judges and not by votes from fans. Please take note!

I think something similar happened to Jack Bauer in season 3 or 4 of 24.

But nevertheless, I think female contestants will find the storyline more challenging.
