African has also seen tremendous growth in online usage and its expected to have 500 million internet users by 2020. Web tools and technologies help millions of entrepreneurs, creators and individuals to expand their knowledge and reach.
Google wants to help close the digital gap in Africa, improve employability and encourage entrepreneurship among young people.
Program Goal:
To equip young job seekers and small business owners with the digital skills they need to compete and succeed in the modern economy.
Training 1 million people in one year across countries across Sub-Saharan Africa.
