Known for her praised live performances, which features her Ova Sabi band and dancers; Yemi Alade is force on stage. Speaking to the Nigerian Tribune as she kicks off the USA leg of her “Mama Africa World Tour”, the self proclaimed “King of Queens” seems to have called-out her male and female colleagues for failure to deliver strong performances on stage. When she was asked; “You are an energetic performer who would rather do live band than perform to CDs. It's long overdue, because the way and manner the so-called artists embarrassed their fans is worrisome which is why I don't see any of them worthy of attention. Though few of them are giving back to their fans. |
