Shey una dey see wetin Mbaise people wan bring inside church? I was here yesterday saying this very same thing. Accept Bishop Okpaleke first and then you can lay your complaints later. Since this crisis started, why haven't they ordained their young priests who were teary for ordination? Why haven't they confirmed their little boys and girls, ready for confirmation? And to think that it's the priests that are misleading the laity. Shameful. 5 Likes |

Only in mbaise will such evil disobedience occur, when we get Biafra we shall handle them our way. The pope decision is final, accept ur bishop or u all will be excommunicated and the diocese moved to another place. Nonsense ppl. 5 Likes |

You see, this is why I tell Africans slavery is still going on. Otherwise, why would anybody in Imo state, Nigeria, West Africa, need the authority of the pope to manage a church they built? And the pope needs a written apology from all the bishops? The people in that community should exit the Catholic Church and take over their church!!. Rochas Okorocha is an "educated" person and obviously would align with white people against the aspirations of his own people- that's the purpose of western education in summary. Whatever decision that must be taken should be taken by people who grew up in that community, such people would be in better position to understand the yearning and position of the community, not a Euro-Afro hybrid individual without solid root on the culture and beliefs of Ahiara people. And they say race or tribe doesn't matter? If race and ethnicity doesn't matter; when was the last time God installed a BLACK pope? Or, is it o.k for a racist God to always appoint white people as pope, but wrong for Ahiara people to choose a bishop of their choice? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Apart from d injustice of no federal presence viz roads etc, police siege and extortion, thinks about this. There is hardly any 5 years they do not bring back remains of ppl killed in d north in large numbers. When u ask of what happened,it will be flimsy like,a cartoon was drawn in Denmark,Plateau state indigenes are fighting wt hausa ppl in Jos and hausa ppl decided t kill Igbos,Nigeria wants to host Miss World and they will kill Igbos. Kaduna Christians fight with muslims,d muslims will hunt Igbos within reach and kill. Buhari lost elections in 2011 and they hunted Igbos and killed. Put urself in that position bro. 4 Likes |

In 1979, a certain Juhayman al-Otaybi, a prince from a Saudi royal family led a two weeks rebellion against the Saudi kingdom and family. The centre stage of this confrontation with the Saudi National Guard took place right there at Islam's holiest site, Mecca. Religion, irrespective of faith has always been distasteful when it veers off its doctrines and tenets to take a political shape. Politics and religion have never mixed well. But when humans are involved, the possibility of separating the two is less then 1%. Without humans, religion cannot exist. Human are creatures with flaws and faults. Religion on the other hand, strives for perfection. How to reconcile the two is a great challenge to human existence. 2 Likes 1 Share |

EMMAUGOH: Mbaise lost the agitation when they agreed to be under the administration of Cardinal Onaiyekan of Abuja Archdiocese than to be under Bishop Okpalaeke. I don't like how those idiotic priests are being treated with kids' gloves. They should all be derobbed so that they can go and form their own Mbaise Catholic church. As a matter of concern, all priests of Mbaise origin must be sent back to Mbaise to minister to their people. I was expecting Bishop Okpaleke to be the one protesting his posting to Mbaise. Humans and devils should have no communication. \ 3 Likes |
