There is nothing as suffocating as regret. I never regret anything. Because every little detail of your life is what made you into who you are in the end. 5 Likes |

i did say NO to a guy that seemed all perfect, nice, caring and hopelessly sweet .From the very first day we met,i knew we couldn't work,he was nothing short of an angel, but my instincts and intuition didn't just accept him, something didn't add up. Fast forward to when we starting really talking and building friendship, he was a complete gentleman, almost did everything in the books,Lol at some point i started doubting his sincerity, guess that's what having bad experiences does to you,you kinda structured yourself into believing good men don't exist. Moving on, we talked and really did become friends this all happened within the period of four months, let me mention most of our conversations were via phone calls. Sadly,he was transferred to another state, so he eventually made arrangements to travel down to see me,which i greatly anticipated, somewhere in my mind i started accepting him, felt like i was trying to grow the love, his consistency made that happen. It was on a Friday,we were supposed to spend the weekend together,i was a combination of nervous and excited, because it was going to practically be the first time we would spend quality time together physically, unfortunately all my fears were confirmed there was more to his appealing exterior sweetness, i discovered flaws i never perceived before then, our conversations were lifeless, there was zero chemistry worse of all was that,i realized throughout the period we spent together, i couldn't feel myself,i was being too prim and proper to make myself very deserving of this almost perfect man. Summary is, from day one my whole being said no to him,but i wanted to give it a chance,i was so scared of losing someone that nice and caring,i was even more scared i might never meet anyone better, but deep down i kinda knew he wasn't the one. so basically it taught me to always confirm my instincts and fears and never settle for someone that makes me want to disown myself and pretend to be another, because really true love should accept all of you. f**k this shii is long. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

I met my husband when I was very very young. We didn't start a relationship straight away, was naive, young. He was patient, nurturing like a mother hen, I didn't or let me say we didn't plan to date, he's just an older friend. When I started dating him, I still felt like I can't be hooked at this time, I had other affairs but I found out nobody has really ever cared about me like him. I was fortunate not to have lost him That would've been the regret if he was no longer available. I think I've been lucky in intimate relationships. OP, I wish girls will learn. I know a lady, she's like a big sister to me. She's in her Forties now and still a spinster. Way back she was beautiful, upwardly mobile, independent and had classy men at her beck and call. She could've easily married a senator if she wanted but somehow, inexplicably, she let all of them slip away. She's a prayer warrior now. I do pray for her too. Ladies should just learn, you can't slay forever. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

For me, I believe most of the traits we exhibit as a people and at various stages in our lifes are possibly characteristics of our zodiac sign, the environment we find ourselves and maybe our experiences both the ones we are told, the ones we read, the ones saw etc. We can't just act beyond this. I've met a lot of people and it seems majority of them if not all are merely playing the script according to their zodiac nature and understanding this fact has fully helped me to appreciate people based on who they really are and not what they do because most times, we only display those natural attribute according to our zodiac and the timing. This has really helped me on how to relate with people and how to handle issues when they start exhibiting their natural traits because it's obviously inevitable. |
