Watch your limit oh student of knowledge!!!

Ash-shaykh Ad-duktoor Soolih Bn Sa'd As-suhaymiy (May ALlaah keep him safe) was asked in his liqoohu maftooh by a student that:
"Is there permissibility of al-'udhru bil jahl (excuse of ignorance) in matters of 'aqeedah (creed)?

He answered (May ALlaah protect him) that:
"This is a matter not permissible for little students of knowledge to speak and debate about. Indeed it is a matter ONLY meant for the senior scholars to speak about"

Shaykh As-suhaymiy uses this answer of his to call students of knowledge towards knowing their limits and to be wary of dabbling into issues that do not concern them.
