Sometimes it could be a problem of low storage, resulting to slow performance!
Firstly,
1. Do restart and try making calls again. But if it doesn't solve it then;
2. Do a backup and then a format.

I'd try it out. But I'm also thinking of contacting the customer care service. They might give me a code or something.

Hi @13ShadesOfMay You may change that from your Call App Settings. Touch the 3-dotted gear [atop the contact/call history list], tap SETTINGS, then CALLING ACCOUNTS, select the sim card & click ADDITIONAL SETTINGS. You'll see Caller ID, tap it & select the preferred option - NETWORK DEFAULT or HIDE NUMBER or SHOW NUMBER.

My phone battery power does not increase when charging, it only notifies that the charger has been plugged and most times it switches on automatically and then goes of abruptly, whenever it manages to boot, the power off menu automatically shows as if the power on botton was pressed. Pls what could be wrong?

Go to your dailer tap on settings
Tap on Calling accounts then select the sim card that displays the private number
Tap on additional settings and set caller ID to Network Default
