MAITAMA SULE WAS LAID TO REST AT THE PALACE OF THE EMIR OF KANO, WHERE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE GATHERED TO PAY THEIR LAST RESPECT TO THE STATESMAN. Maitama who died in Cairo on Monday at the age of 87, he was flown to Abuja from Cairo and earlier flown to Kano state in a Nigerian Air Force aircraft.
