The client enjoyed his set for about 2 months and requested an upgrade!
We sourced the product with the client while choosing low-cost and efficient products, from Panels to inverters and batteries in a transparent manner. Installation was carried out, and the client did the load test, showing that he can now power all his 2 regular 1HP Hisense ACs, a Refrigerator, and a Pumping Machine without waiting for the Grid. Video coming soon on my YouTube channel.

5 X 570W High-efficiency panels. (780K)
6.2KW inverter (450K)
5KWH (1.25M)
The total package is under 3M Naira.

I don't know why Chinese love to lie about specs.

If 3484w is 62% of this Sako 6.2kw Inverter, it therefore means that the Total capacity of the inverter is (3484w * 100% / 62 = 5.62) 5.62kw and not 6.2k as claimed.

Thank goodness am not expecting to load it more than 82% (4.6kw) of it total real capacity.

Nice setup though.

Noticed that too.....my 10.2kw inverter has an actual load capacity of roughly 8.2kw.

Using the formula on my write-up above, I think your inverter may actually be 8.1kw.

Just did another one today ! Working perfectly well

Good business I must say.

16 550 watts Jinko panels
10kw pylontech lithium battery
5kw Growatt hybrid inverter

Hi quick question. The growatt inverter there the manufacturer states maximum PV array input as 6000w but you have 16 550w panels which is total 8800watts isn't that too much for the inverter?

They are new! Problem is owner decided to do some renovations so we have to move the batteries from a previous location!

Having used the pylontech battery for a while now, could you please share your general experience in the following areas?

1. Performance compared with lithium phosphate battery
2. Cost effectiveness of pylontech battery compared with lithium phosphate battery, putting energy storage (kWh) into consideration. That's 15 cells for pylontech Vs 16 cells for prismatic.

I'm asking to get practical/reliable information from your usage and this will enable me to give a customer who wants to buy it a sincere information/advice.
Pylontech battery nominal voltage is 48v while lithium phosphate battery nominal voltage is 51.2v.
How compatible is pylontech (mainly of voltage) with the connected equipment like inverter?
What is the major difference between pylontech US series and UP series?
Thanks

I am just an installer! Will ask the client for review

Pylontech battery nominal voltage is 48v while lithium phosphate battery nominal voltage is 51.2v.

Well, Pylontech server rack packs is just an assembled Lithium ion phosphate batteries.

They have 48V 15s Variants and newer ones with 51.2V 16s.

48V is designed for old inverter systems, that don't support editable voltage configuration..

As inverter has evolved overtime to be smarter, 51.2V is the new 48V.

Now Chinese capitalised on this.......... To be continued

If you are buying directly, you can always ask for the power factor.

I bought the inverter already and power factor was 1.

Which inverter did you post here that has pf .8?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Mrreed(m): 10:36pm On Aug 11
Its another brand, I just used it for illustration. I didn't want to conclude that it's from the Chinese because some of our importers have a thing for over rating the capacity of inverters. Screenshot below is from techfine sales rep

The inverter was rated in KW not KVA.....the power factor must have been factored in.

mctfopt:

There is this crazy thing most Asian inverter manufacturers do, they label an inverter one thing while the pf shows true capacity to be another. Who knows the pf of the so-called 2.5kva

This idea of using pf to name capacity is a very sneaky plot by Asian manufacturers. If your pf is 0.5, your inverter capacity should be compliant with that pf. That is why I'm very afraid to put load close to rated capacity of unknown brands as you are definitely courting damage due to overload.
