They are virtually the same inverter....rebarged with different brand names

Good morning house.
I have jinko 435w(3pcs) and 555w(2pcs)
Plus a 24v 3kw Inverter and 60A mppt cc.

How can I combine the panels to give best results please?

Not always true. With the said load, the client will enjoy it very well.
it's okay for output. I'm more concerned about charging a big capacity battery like that on a 12vdc. It's going to take ages to charge up.

The IMP is similar, they can work in all series provided you are using High VOC MPPT inverter
If not get a separate controller.

The cc is 160v max voc and 3pcs 435w + 2pcs 555w = (3×33v)+(2×40v) = 179v
I'm hoping I can push it instead of adding another cc in parallel?
Or how about if the panels are connected 3p + 2p?

Constant current will do the trick

You are quoting even VMP.
3p + 2p may work with some losses on the extra voltage of 550w. So all will work as 5p 435

Gurus in the house kindly advise please
so i have a solar/inverter system set up exactly a year ago
The Charge controller threw an "error 12" yesterday and wasnt charging .
I performed a shutdown and restart when i saw it , and the Battery started charging immediately with PHCN , but the Controller was toasted with white smoke coming from it.
just wanted opinions on what could have caused it ?
PS. I havent change any of the settings since it was set up last year
Thanks

You're a lucky guy.
Ordered on November 20, still haven't received. Awful service.

This was finally delivered on December 10. 20 days after ordering angry

Apparently they didn't have the panel in stock at the Fouani store close to me so had to send from Lagos.

.
Won't the PV current be too much with this 5p combination? Why not just series the 3 435 and keep the 550 for future upgrade

morning Chief, please why's my charge controller reading the battery voltage different from the inverter reading of the same battery ?

Multimeter reading of battery at the terminals of battery also different from both the inverter and charge controller, please any explanation for this?

They all different by 2 units, multimeter would measure 13.6 while inverter 13.4 and charge controller 13.2.

Please help, pros in the house.
Tubular battery water ran dry. Initially, battery wasn’t getting charged thru the grid any longer due to failed grid switch But it was getting charged cy the solar panels. Was getting depleted and discharging quickly at night.

Just topped up with 10 ltrs of distilled water, got a surge protector and it charged via grid to 12.5v during the first night and after that only charges through solar panel and discharges from 13.4 to 12.1 without even any load or usage. Grid also doesn’t work again even though it shows cgjarging indicator light at night.

I have not used it for 3 days and it is still at 12.5v.

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Kintowi: 11:18am On Dec 15
I decided to test with little load for 1 minute and it dropped immediately to 12.0v.

24V 1500W rated power and a surge power of 3000W
Perfectly working fine, no issues!
I’m retiring it because I’m switching to an hybrid inverter.
Any interested buyer should respond to this message, I can waybill so location won’t be an issue

My inverter reading is different from the reading on my battery itself, which is in turn different from the reading on the BMS app on my phone grin

For example rn, inverter says 27.2v, battery display says 26.8v, and the app says 27.0v. It's a clusterfuck.

If the CC max limit can accommodate the 5panels then our consideration is d max VOC then:
1. Parallel 2pcs of the 435 then series it with d third 435 and the 2pcs 555.
2. Either sell off d 3pcs 435w and get more of 555 or vices versa.
