We live in a digital age where the importance of data cannot be over emphasized. From Business to entertainment to education even religion (remember sitting at home to stream services or make research on a religious topic online?), everything revolves around data. It is therefore a very important issue to be abreast of the BEST DATA SERVICE AVAILABLE as well as THE BEST DATA VALUE IN TERMS OF VOLUME.

Prior to this time, Glo was truly the grand master of data. They provided us with large data volume and even if their network was not so stable, we were able to put up with them due to the volume of data allocated. Only heaven knows the staff that ill-advised them to slash their data volume allocation by half. I believe by this time, they must have felt the effect. Little wonder that their immediate response in less than a week was to roll out a system where you get the normal double data allocation if you renew your subscription before the expiry date and additional grace period of three days. I am not sure that this move will actually get them as many customers as they previously had on their data network.

personally, I ditched them when that happened coupled with the fact that despite using more than five thousand naira that month, I did not get an invite for the Glo mega music tour in Port Harcourt (I went for the glo lafta fest and it was fun.......I even had to buy extra card to provide access for some...........you know the drill). At that time, My MTN double data plan which I discussed here was still running so it was very easy to ditch them.
AIRTEL 10GB DATA FOR N2500: AIRTEL DOUBLE DATA PLAN

The Airtel double data plan came in at the right time for me. I was wondering when the MTN double data was going to expire what plan I was going to subscribe to and then Airtel came along with this fantastic offer.
PS: Up till this time, I have always taken eevery data offer from Airtel with a pinch of salt. This is because they were in reality the grand masters of data grazing. I have always described them as grazing on your data same way a cow would graze grass
I tried them out by doing a N2,000 subscription which gives 7gb data. So this plan gives you 7gb data for N2,000 and unlike them, I must confess that the data was not grazed. It is noteworthy that this is not a blackberry plan. I will advise you to stay away from the use of any of Airtel's Blackberry data plans on your android device. The blackberry data will simply grow wings and fly away from your android device. The USSD code for getting 7GB data with N2,000 is *437*2#.
Having tested this 7gb plan with nothing to complain about, I switched to the 10gb data plan for N2,500.

1. Load your airtel line with N2,500
2. Dial *144# and the menu shown in the picture above pops up
press select 3 then press ok.
3. To check your data balance, simply dial *140# and you will get an SMS with your data balance.

PS:
1. Not every customer is eligible for this double data offer. It is actually dependent on how well you load your line. Before you load your line with the N2,500, dial *144# to confirm that the double data menu comes up on your line.
2. The Airtel double data offer gives you 3gb data for N1,000 ; 7gb data for N2,000 ; and 10gb data for N2,500

3. All data is valid for one month (30 days) only

I must commend Airtel for this development, the 10G is what l am presently using l must say it's the best in Nigeria at the moment and It deducts the data accurately. Try it you will never regret you did

I followed what you said above and just tried this again with *144# and when i checked my balance, i only got Android 5120mb... bonus 15mb...I think Airtel is cheating me somehow....

There should be another bonus of 5120MB if you are eligible......
