Ifiokobong Akan is the creative director and CEO of House of Borah Global Limited. A fashion house based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

She is an alumnus of the University of Calabar where she obtained a BSc, in Policy Studies and Administration. She is also a Data base administrator and a member of the Association of Image Consultant International (AICI).
The beautiful and elegant Ifiokobong has obtained several certificates such as the Certificate in Image Consulting and Fashion Styling in Arizona, USA, and many others to help sharpen the edges of her passion to dominate the fashion industry.
In her early days at the university, Ifiok began her long quest to create a niche in the industry by selling fashion accessories whilst in school. She realized it was time to follow her passion when every outfit she wore had a touch of uniqueness and originality.

She got commendations for her sense of style even at a very young age. She saw an opportunity to make a living out of making people look good, and she grabbed it! She stayed consistent in her service delivery and her clientele grew exponentially.
Discovering her new found niche in the fashion world, Ifiokobong in 2013,Founded the House of Borah fashion house. House of Borah, was launched at a time were people thought bespoke tailoring was only about putting fabrics together and making it wearable, Ifiok with her creative skills was able to transform the mind of the people with her innovative designs and creative detailing.
Proving to her growing client base, just how well a detailed bespoke can totally transform an individual. House of Borah is a household name in Akwa Ibom state and has created job opportunities for many, trained and inspired a lot of impending fashion designers in the industry.
