open Letter To All Okowa's Political Aides

Dear Okowa's aides

I'm very much tired of you people, i understand you need to sing for your master so your families can eat but do you people know the damage you're causing? the corruption, gross incompetence and murders that you people are aiding and abetting? I seriously doubt you people do.

now i do not intend to school you people on morality or preach to you about how you need to run your lives, for christ sake i do not know what you've been through in this hell hole called Nigeria, I do not know what you've suffered,and how it took you to get to where you are today.

I sincerely don't think I have the right to tell you to back out from what is feeding you at the moment and i don't think I'm more Deltan than you people are but please, just take a brief moment to think about the future of this state, just a moment. it need not be more than 20 minutes. Delta state is dying.. I repeat. The Big heart is dying and you people are closer to the top to at least do something or say something.

if you can't look much into the future,try and look back at the past, ibori had over 1000 aides,where are they today? those singing "ogidigborigbo one of africa".i bet you,more than 90% have gone back to how they were before he took them in,some are worse off. Uduaghan had over 1,500 aides, these ones were more daring and had even better melodies ,now where are they today? these people sang and did the biddings of their masters to the detriment of the state, now they're all gone, back to their sufferings.

if you people continue on this path you won't be any different. at the moment, Okowa has over 2000 Aides. the most any leader of delta has ever appointed and still counting. you guys rain down on every thread, every post,every comment that tries to say something about this state that you people feel is against your master. to you people, anyone that says anything anti-okowa is in the opposition. this is not right at all. if Delta continues on this path our future is bleak. we're supposed to be competing with Lagos state, not kogi state or Benue state.

your master keeps rolling out empowerment programmes that are not sustainable,not even a single policy is being proposed to tackle the issue of health care, education, transportation, agriculture or even employment. there is no single factory in Delta state, workers are still being owed salaries, our hospitals are a a joke and to think we have a governor that is a medical doctor is even a bigger joke. his daughter just put to bed in one of the best hospitals abroad,your wives will put to bed in general hospital Asaba were the nurses will even slap them if they refuse to push as instructed, our security is a story for another day but I'm sure you guys have guns for now,at least you can protect yourselves, you see those roads he's building that you guys are hailing him for? there's not a single plan in place for maintenance and in a few years we'll be back to square one.

say something please, search your conscience,summon the courage to talk to yourselves if you are too afraid to talk to your master. Okowa will leave office whether you people like it or not but Delta state will still be here. only worse off, your appointments will soon be over but I'm sure most of you by the grace of God will still be here,why not make it count now? you have the opportunity to do something with your office, i don't care if you're his aide on girlfriend affairs,why not talk to him about the plight of those girls and why they actually took up such unholy lifestyle? Delta state is dying. we've been been plundered by successive administrations aided by their political aides,bros and aunty aide abeg, search your conscience.

some of you travel with him overseas on different occasions, you like what you see when you're there right? why not advise him to do the right thing here. don't reduce yourselves to mere thugs that can be disposed whenever he pleases, you people are worth more than you think you are,your lives might have changed with Okowa but it can be better after Okowa if you people do the right thing, on behalf of all well meaning deltans, I'm begging. change your ways, stop singing like a parrot.

Okowa is only the best governor in your dreams, to the rest of us witnessing his administration from afar, he's just another man wrecking havoc on our collective future. talk to him so he knows the true scenario on ground. do not deceive him that everyone is happy in Delta state or with his administration because Deltans are rising and he might make history as the first "one term" governor of the state if he's not careful.
