Just like he’s older brother, Peter Okoye of Psquare also has something to say over the plan of the federal government to stop the production of music, and movies outside Nigeria.

Here’s what he wrote;

Looking at the brighter side of the FG's plan it's a good one 'cause if Movies and Music production could be done in the country then why go all out to do it when doing so within your country you're adding to its GDP.

If not that they're all looters, it's a good development if they'd put the money into infrastructural development.

Secondly, the FG would have to set up industries that'd produce movies/music locally.

You sound like you're not a Nigerian undecided

In what way has the FG promote/support or encouraged the movies/music industries

Biko stop trying to sound nice. We know the drill; Naija is wacked up

I'm not trying to sound nice but looking at the economic benefits of producing movies/music locally. Now, the government has a role to play which is infrastructural development and advancement in technology.

These celebrities exchange local currency to foreign in their bid to produce their movies/music internationally which is a drain on ours. I think this is why they want them to produce locally but total ban is kind of wrong.
