On online application in the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC), which was established in 2010, is a
continental development program that promotes youth spirit of volunteerism in Africa. The
program objectives are to deepen the status of young people as key players in Africa's
development aims and goals, enhancing their participation in policy development as
well as design and implementation of relevant interventions towards the Africa Union’sAgenda 2063, ‘The Africa we want’. It brings people together to share  
knowledge, creativity, skill and learning to build a more  prosperous,peaceful and
integrated Continent driven by its great citizens. The volunteering golden opportunities are intended
to build;

professionalism,
sense of responsibility among the participants,
enhancing their employability.    
For the successful candidates, the African Union Commission and its partners will cover the full costs of their pre-deployment training.
ENTITLEMENTS
When deployed, African Union Youth Volunteers will receive the following:

 Economy air ticket from home town to place of deployment will be paid
A modest monthly stipend is sure  and 
Health insurance cover till end not contract
Separation allowance upon successful completion of twelve months service will also be given
