change the password of all your email account and logout from unrecognized devices, then change the password of all your social media accounts

Could be some malware on your phone that might be installed when you handed your phone over to someone or possibly contained in a disguised online file attachment. ... I've seen it work before whereby a phone receives information from another without the permission from the other regardless of distance usually text file, messages n mail... The one I saw it's hard to receive media file over that I don't know how it works but.. Try formatting the phone... I mean a real wipe. I'm not sure about that though... I'll Rather you change your phone...

Get a newly registered sim card and don't just login on any device you see that is not yours. Always change your passwords frequently and make it really difficult to guess (a combo of nd letters, numbers and characters).
