Nemesis has caught up with a suspected member of deadly Badoo gang that has left many dead in Ikorodu.

A man suspected of the deadly cult group was caught at F&G road in Odonla, Ikorodu at exactly 7am on Monday morning by mob, they beat hell out of him before handed him over to Police at Sagamu road in Ikorodu.

once a badoo suspect confesses and admits to his crime, lynch him immediately! no need taking him to the police station for further interrogation.

something has to be done about this jungle justice system. How do they know for sure this is a badoo member? Because it now seems that the residents are killing more people than the dreaded badoo, all in the name of community policing.Thank God the police were able to rescue this one, and i really hope a proper investigation is done. It is better to let 10 guilty people go scout free, than to kill an innocent man!

Too many question marks regarding this whole badoo thing. ALL THESE BADOO PEOPLE CAUGHT AND NO TANGIBLE INFORMATION? SOMETHING DOESN'T ADD UP!

How are we sure these suspects are actual members?

Is there even really a badoo or is it just a word coined by the local residents / media?

If truly there is a badoo group set out to cause mayhem, then has the police interrogated them properly to find out their motive? is it for money ritual or for some other purposes?

Where is their hide out?

How do they communicate? what are their phone numbers (surely one of these suspects should have a phone number or some other means of communicating with his fellow badoo members - assuming the suspects are actually badoo members) that way we can use the recent compulsory sim registration information to track down other suspects/members of the badoo group.

When a suspect is caught, can we get some proof that the suspect is actually a member? a group of people can apprehend an innocent man, throw some charms on him and claim that the charms belong to the innocent individual, This was exactly what happened to an Igbo guy in Ikorodu some weeks back.

I am ALL for the lynch mob treatment BUT we need to know who is who. For all we know some of these ikorodu vigilantes are probably the ones carrying out these heinous crimes on behalf of some baale or someone powerful and then the same watchdogs turn around to apprehend an innocent individual and claim he / she is a member of the badoo gang. We need more proof and we need the police to do their jobs. Its a scary thing to think off, especially in Lagos where a group of 8 or more local residents can set someone up all because they dislike something about that person and next thing you know - fuel, tires and well you know the rest.
