The 8th Senate has passed the Whistleblower Protection Bill.
According to report, as gotten from the weekly post on abubakarbukolasaraki website, the 8th Senate has passed the Whistleblower Protection Bill. This was made known by Saraki on wednesday where he stated thus that this was a promise kept

“This is a promise kept. Today, we have passed a landmark piece of legislation to fight corruption and protect patriotic Nigerians who are fighting corruption. This Bill will protect the lives of those who risk themselves to expose corrupt practices in Nigeria.” he continued.

However, the Bill is one out of the three anti-corruption Bills making a completion as promised.
