dowjones:I will come back to ask you question on the auto trade. Edited; I have lost money on forex twice , the 2nd one was via a social trading platform ....so I am so scared of forex. Then here comes two different coys here in port harcourt that takes investments for forex. The first one - Mba forex started with paying their customers 20% return monthly but have reduced it to 15% monthly for a 6 months period. Their broker is said to be regulated by FCA uk and they even come during their seminars. They have been consistent for almost two years( I have friends with them that have stayed over 1 year) then this second coy pays 10% weekly. The said they trade forex with an autobot and some other digital instrument like emerging coins. My friends are hugely exposed to them and this scares me. I feel it is ponzi. Do you think such returns are possible with forex? |

mamatwiny: Hello. Congratulations on your losses. Lol. It will be part of your success story. As for companies who apply methods of "monthly payback", I will advice you avoid them. Look. Success in any financial market is determined by your approach. And a long term approach is a fail safe way to last longer on the markets. You can either INVEST or SPECULATE in any financial market. Short term investors like these companies in PH are speculators.. They trade, make money and take the profits out. Now this is not only myopic but dumb because common sense would tell you that profits protect the equity from future losses because losses will be inevitable. But an investor will reinvest his profits with a long term scope hoping that his profits will grow so much to a size where he can trade on it and yeild bigger returns. If you must invest with such companies. Make sure they trade your funds from your account through the social trading platform. Avoid sending them money unless they actually have a track record spanning 2 year as you've mentioned |

Dowjones remind them that you can only trade with the amount you can afford to lose which is the most important. Also would like contributions to strategies or resources to make for a better trader. Thanks for all you have shared. Remain blessed |

Ejuna80: That's entirely all I've been saying. FX is not child's play. But in very clear terms: trading currencies in ignorance will make you lose all your money in a snap! Let all who can read. Read. I don't teach becaue teaching itself is a skill. But I can recommend those who teach. To be successful as a trader. You must attach yourself to a mentor and a community. I have another thread that will link to an investment group. I will share whatever I want there. On the thread or group. 1 Like |
