When a service (eg website, social media, etc) is hacked, they steal database of password hashes (if the website saves passwords securely then they're not stored in plaintext, but are salted and hashed so that only the correct password will decrypt it. For example if your password is "password" it will be stored like this:

If they're successful and they're able to convert it to plaintext then they'll retry the username (usually email address) and password with other services.

So for people like you that reuse passwords, they'll be able to get logins for different services and they'll group them and sell them in the darkmarkets on the web.

Did you read the part where they wrote the master password isn't saved on their servers?
If they manage to hack them then the data they get will be useless because they don't have the key to decrypt it.

Stolen, the assailant wouldn't know what to do with it, its encrypted!
