I recently concieved an idea that requires high tech knowledge to pull through and I am looking for the success stories of home grown programmers who had built something very successful as inspiration.

I am justing starting out to learn programming and I will be glad if apps that were built, ran or sold for good money be listed here.

I believe we can build another whatsapp, another uber app, duolingo etc.

Yes, there are, they might not be the owners of these apps, but Nigerian devs have built, managed, co-owned or even held strategic positions such as (CTO) in companies that own these apps.
