22-Year-Old Student Sets to Become Australia’s Youngest Senator. Ukridosblog, learnt that the university student may

become the youngest senator ever in Australia following the recent resignation of Scott Ludlam, a politician he calls his “mentor”.

Jordon Steele-John, who was born in the UK, has accepted to replace Scott Ludlam in the Senate for the left-wing Greens party.

Mr Ludlam resigned last week on the grand that he was holding a dual citizenship which is against the Australia’s constitution.

The 22-Year-Old, who has cerebral palsy, said he will be committed as a disability advocate

The reason Jordon Steele-John is selected to replace Mr. Ludlam, is because he was second in line in their last election conducted last year and has the backing of his party left-wing Greens.

According to Jordon Steele-John, he said;

"The future belongs to young people. We need to be represented in our parliament," Mr Steele-John said in a statement.

"There is a very large group of people who will now have a voice that truly understands and represents their interests."

He further said;

"I've learned that to be a young person with a disability in contemporary Australia is to occupy the intersection of some of our society's most ingrained myths and most damaging pre-conceived ideas.

"At every opportunity I've worked hard to bust these myths."
"We are only at the beginning of this process and there are still a lot of steps to go, but I am ready to do this job."

America need something like that to remain as power in future.

They need generational shift in their leadership.
