1. You could book your interview without opening a block account BUT YOU CAN'T GO FOR INTERVIEW WITHOUT OPENING A BLOCK ACCOUNT if your using B.A don't know about thoes using sponsorship letters.

2. No sponsorship letters are only accepted from residents in Germany.

3. You can provide your sponsorship letter after your interview.

Hello Everyone,

I have being a silent observer and reader here. I find it difficult to get my transcript by hand as I was told by my past and present higher institution that it's impossible for me to have by hand that I can only provide a foreign school address where they can send it to directly. My past school us Yabatech and present is UNILAG. I wonder if they aren't aware of a country like Germany that requires all admission REQUIREMENTS being notarized before sending.

Please I have some questions which I believe our able nairalanders could be of help.

1. As anyone used UNILAG DLI YEAR ONE transcript to apply successfully for any Bsc program? Although, am presently in year 3 but the year 2 result is yet to be release, and it seem there will be no time waiting for its release.

2. Would it be possible to get the transcript from German Embassy if I submitted their address to my school in order to send directly to the embassy as a means of authentication?

3. Can my OND transcript also support the possibility of being admitted in these German universities?

I will appreciate if my humble questions is being looked into and advised.

Thank you....

Connect me on wassap...08110071800...I just applied for a Unilag transcript, and I have someone's link who is ready to improvise the existing protocol for me. Cheers.

In addition, to what someone mentioned, the Consulate can also issue denial. A friend of mine was rejected without forwarding his documents to the ailien office. He had to mail his school who later mailed the foreign office and they said his documents were not forwarded initially.

Point of correction!

It "MUST NOT" be handwritten. Its OK you said it's stated on the checklist, but the word "MUST" isn't appropriate.

Do you realized that when trying to book an appointment for student visa, there is also a checklist while navigating through the links/direction? In that checklist, it wasn't stated if it should be "Handwritten" or not.

Talking from personal experience, I submitted a typed LOM

Seriously unnecessary argument, Instructions are instructions, and are meant to be followed. The checklist on the student visa page clearly indicates that the LOM should be handwritten.

The fact you got away with typing yours doesn't mean you should mislead others from doing the right thing, since the purpose of this forum is to provide RELIABLE & CORRECT INFORMATION to others

For your transcript, as far as the school sends it directly, it doesn't need to be notarized as it proves that the document sent is authentic since it is directly from the school (based on uni-assist response to my enquiry in the past). So just apply to your university and have them send the transcript directly to the school.

Hi everyone,

I have a 2.9/5.0(2:2) CGPA in computer science and would love to apply for MSc in Computer science or Data science/analytics with 3 years work experience as a software engineer in a reputable company here in Nigeria. I've found some schools with those courses, they didn't explicitly state their entry requirements. Not sure if I stand a chance as I heard masters admission in German is highly competitive. Anyone been in this situation before or know anyone? Is there anything I should that will give me a higher chance considering my low CGPA. Thanks

@UncleJudax Good day sir. I'm a prospective applicant at JLU Giessen for Agrobiotech. When does application start cos I've been trying to register on uniassist but it says application for winter has not yet started.
In addition, since I'm going for Msc, do I need my high school certificate/waec result for application cos I saw it as a requirement on JLU page.
I anticipate your kind response.
Danke schon

For the certificates: You have to provide the required decuments.

Try to get TOEFL/IELTS and GRE (If you can).
Apply to as many schools and programs as you are qualified for, regardless of the city. Make sure to check CGPA requirements and only apply to schools that have a minimum CGPA requirement of 2.5 (German scale, which is your equivalent) or schools/programs where it's not explicitly stated at all!!!

Good luck

Hello mates. I greet everybody both online and offline.
Please I am quite new in this section and I have tried as much as possible to read thru almost all pages of this section however, I want to ask if I can apply to an undergraduate (Bsc) course in Germany. Would have love Masters but unfortunately my Bsc grade(2.22) might not be sufficient.
I have checked through daad website and I have identified Management and Technology Bachelors as best suitable as i currently work as a Sales Executive for IT security solutions with a top IT firm in Lagos.
I also have been able to identify TUM as a choice of school for the mentioned course.

Please I need guidance on how to kikcstart my application process.
Should i go through the school direct or use uni assist (I intend to apply to 3 schools maybe).
Kindly advise
Appreciate, thank you and best regards

Hello,
Please is there any ongoing application for Bsc programmes?

If I certify my documents with a given school application, can i use the certified documents later for another school?

Concerning uni assist, how do you guys make payment? Is it by normal debit card (master or visa)? Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Apply to as many schools as possible; most importantly those that are not restricted. Find attached the list and links to Msc programs in IT. Check it up one after the other cause some info might have been outdated. I compiled it almost 2yrs ago. Shalom
