The intent behind this is not to provoke the German consulate into banning Nigerians or withdrawing the free education scheme. It is simply to provoke them into re-thinking their stand regarding the study visa situation. It is understandable that we need be diplomatic (nothing in the article states otherwise). However, one cannot simply fold his arms and expect manna to fall from heaven, the idea is to get them to reconsider but that is totally at their discretion.
Everyone is simply doing what he or she can to find a solution to this (if we can).
Also, those individuals who were affected by something like this last year, should kindly let us know what they did (if they did anything at all). This platform is to exchange ideas and pass on info to help the next man.
I pray we all get that which we desire.

Provoke Aso Rock instead!

Hello guys,

I trust everyone is having a great day.

In the light of the recent rejection of Student Visa application from the Embassy...It's obvious our only hope of getting them to re-think their stand is to involve our Legislators and Govt Officials.

I've read that some other Asian countries are facing similar challenge but he truth is Nigerians are the only ones in Africa. The Embassy in Accra attends to 3 countries and it's still open till probably September if not longer...so that argument does not hold water.

In nut, myself and couple of guys have thought it right to get the attention of well-meaning Nigerians to wedge in on our case and call the Embassy to act right.

An article has been put up and we need to flood our Social media handles with this information! LIKE FLOOD IT TILL THEY WOULD HAVE TO RESPOND TO IT.

I believe everyone on this platform should ACTIVELY participate in this; not only those who are yet to get interview dates.
VICTORY FOR ONE IS VICTORY FOR ALL.

This is a case of some people choosing to crush our dreams and aspirations, we shouldn't fold our arms!

Everything you posted here should be directed at Nigeria, the politicians etc. the Germans own their country, you getting visa to study there is a PRIVILEGE. Germany owes you or anyone that isn't a citizen ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Thread wisely so they don't decide to completely shut the whole thing down.

Really funny experience with the foreign office. I agree that getting your hair done here is costly. The painful part is that, those who claim to know how to do hair can't really do anything (from my own experience)
Well, I do my own hair now.

In addition please you ladies should learn how to braid hair and fix weavons before coming. You could save yourself some cash wink

Dont know about ur 2nd question but if u know u wanna apply for student visa and wanna get admission into a Uni in Germany u gatz have an 100L transcript( it's essential) or if u only have waec then u can apply to studentkoligen bt for that u need the German Language certificate(meaning u av to learn German) i think B1 level not sure Cc Jigba can confirm that for you. Just try and get an 100L transcript or do the before.
U can check https://www.daad.de/en/ u will get most of ur answers there

I didn't use sponsorship letter. I downloaded the form from the site and filled offline on my system; if you fill online it wont work. The VO was very young and beautiful though.
1 what course are you going for?
2 how did you know about the school?
3, do you speak German?
4 explain the course you are going for?
5 what is the school website?
6 why germany, why not UK, Canada, US?
7 list your course work per semester?
8 how many semester are involved?
9 does your course involve travelling outside Germany
10 what do you know about Germany
11, discuss your city peculiarities?
13 What did you study at an undergraduate level?
14, what was your project topic and discuss it?
15 who was your project supervisor?
16 why don't want to do the course in Nigeria?
17 how prepared are you for Germany since you cant speak German?
18 who is your sponsor and how do you intend funding your account?
19 what is your motivation?
20 what is your intention after your masters programme?

These are what i could remember.
Success to those going for interview and I pray for a miracle for those seeking for appointment.t

When you check the Daad website, sometimes the school requirements might not be fully stated on Daad esp this proof of English language... Most schools ask and I think every school ask the the TOEFL and ielts but some also state specifically that if your previous bsc was fully taught in English .. get an official proof from your university stating you earned your bsc in English. I've mailed couples of school and they said its okay..
I also have a friend that got a proof from his school (University of Ibadan) it was accepted and he's currently studying at T.U Berlin.
any school u wanna apply to... make sure u go to thier website and check the language requirements. cuz there are always some exemption.

attached is an example of the proof from uni of Ibadan.

first and foremost if you haven't go to Nigeria banks it will have been good and fine. The fastest and easier way to pay the uniassist processing fee is for someone studying or working in Germany to pay for you. Honorableseyi help me out on it and I paid the money into his Nigeria bank account. Just do it on time. After the payment of the processing fee, uniassist will notify you in 5 days. So hurry up and do the needful.
thank you for your response... How do i get in contact with you honourableseyi?

Hi,

Please someone has an invitation to visit a Schengen Country for September 11 to 24 which he'll come back to Nigeria and then visit the Country again from November 20 to December 3.

Concerning obtaining a Travel Insurance for the Schengen Visa application, I want to know if it's better he splits it into 2 weeks each (Sept 11 to 24 and Nov 20 to Dec 3) or to merge it into just one insurance of 12 weeks (Sept 11 to Dec 3)?

Which would jeopardise the person's chances? Are both options allowed?

Looking forward to an assistance with this information. Regards.

Very valid point. That's why most black women here looks like something excavated from an ancient grave. One needs to learn hair making badly before coming or form a partnership with a black girl with experience. You can order your hair though from known websites from China,.... Lots of options to choose from. Wo wohnst du?

Hello @Reneawable0216,

First off, I will have to say sorry, but we are all experiencing the same thing.

After reading your post I felt really sad... But have you tried to weigh the situation and that procedures and policies change in various countries?

Are you kidding me that you are going to flood twitter handles quote politicians even the acting president
just German consulate has not decided to responded to emails on appointments? (now I was really taken aback and felt ashamed). It's looking more like the protest is farther than just wanting to school in Germany, I perceive!

I beg of us let's act wisely when we do things and stop making this Germans look so less on us. Come to think of if, a German can say if you push this much you can as well apply to a US school and getting scholarship or get non tuition free school in other part of Europe.

My Friend applied to a university in Frankfurt for PhD, after weeks of waiting, exchanging research topics with his supervisor, suddenly a mail came in and state sorry we can't continue with the admission process as the German as regulation has told them to pay attention to its citizens and remain mute about it! This was in March 2017. In April TUMunich did same thing applicants pursuing a PhD must have been a graduate from TUM.

I applied to confederation college in Canada what you are experiencing for Germany happened to me, I have even paid a 110$ application fee, until the coordinator said this (Unfortunately, we do require minimally a Second Class, Upper Division for admission to our post-graduate level programs in Engineering. This was set after recent discussions with immigration and other partners who work in Nigeria.)

If you have applied to a Canadian school you will understand that 2'2 goes for PGD I had gotten Conestoga and Lambton in 2016 but couldn't continue due to finance.

We on Canadian thread didn't floor the Canadian ambassador mails. We on the Canadian thread can tell you from August 2016 to February 2017 90percent of Nigerian applicants were refused because of changes in immigration policies, it is their country and can change the laws doesn't matter to the Nigerian president!

Why am I grieved? Please lets take decisions with wisdom so as not to kill other opportunities.... They have every right to do what they wish to do! Let's be diplomatic and have faith with prayers.

They will send appointment replies very soon before August ends by God's grace.... Be hopeful.

Sending disturbing mails can put them in distress and conclude not to go ahead don't you think?

In my opinion, quit the idea of social media protest, one thing you should know is that Germans does care like Americans too don't.

Sorry, for the long epistle! God bless us all, if it's His will to make it manifest no man can shut it.

Let's thread with caution!! I stand to be corrected too.

Cheers!

uncle judax with due respect the renewable brother that quote earlier have sent his message out. If not our Government that they aren't up to their responsibility, there's nothing bad in addressing our governments in order for them to address this issues. I strongly believe if this issues that happens to us happen to united state of American citizen, I trust Americans they will tweet U. S embassy well. Well for me let us make us of our social media wisely. It helps a lot. So far so good this present government are making use of social media to dished out information to the public. Both their lies and truth information are been posted to the public space through social media. So the best is to inform our government and the german Embassy in berlin to inform them on what's going on. I pray that their will be drastic changes in the embassy.
