The recently launched general merchandise online marketplace– Anta.com.ng – brings about the much-desired breath of fresh air into the Nigerian Ecommerce space as it promises to safeguard both sellers and buyers against the common vices Nigerians currently experience with online marketplaces in the country.

Ecommerce in Nigeria has experienced tremendous growth over the years. This has brought about exciting opportunities for the country and its business sector. Undeniably, ecommerce has proven to be a vibrant source of economic growth and channel for job creation. It has greatly changed the traditional method of shopping and doing business, buying and selling of goods and services are easily done online anytime.

However, not only did ecommerce bring opportunities, along came several risks for both the sellers and buyers alike who tap into the Ecommerce sphere. Especially for online market places, issues of fraud amongst other vices permeates the market, many have been discouraged by these vices to pursue online businesses due to previous experiences and crave for more seller/buyer protection.

Anta.com.ng is an indigenous platform which aims to safeguard the interest of all parties involved in online trading by ensuring buyer and seller protection is fully guaranteed. Anta assures all buyers of 100% refund when standards of delivery on orders are not met; it also guarantees that remittance to merchants are not delayed when they deliver on their orders as stipulated. This, Anta.com.ng believes is the much-desired step to ensure safe modes of payment and delivery pathway with minimal hassles.

How Anta works

Anta offers 2 exciting types of trading; Instant Buy and Online Auction

Instant Buy:

The Seller: Seller uploads products with details of each product in few easy steps.

The Buyer: Buyer surfs the market place, places orders and makes online payment to Anta.com.ng in anticipation of delivery of the goods.

Online Auction:

The Seller: Seller uploads products with details including auction starting price and auction period of each product in few easy steps.

The Buyer: Interested buyers bid for the auctioned items by topping the current highest bid; at the end of the auction period, the buyer with the highest bid wins

Our mandate to protect Buyers and Sellers

Seller is only required to process and dispatch product after buyer has paid for the product

All payments are made to Anta and remains pending with Anta until the Buyer receives the package they ordered.

The Buyer receives a unique token after payment has been made.

Upon delivery of product, the Buyer inspects the package and confirms satisfaction with the order, gives the Seller the unique token received at the point of ordering the product.

Seller inputs the unique token on Anta.com.ng as evidence of delivery.

Cash is then released from Anta to the Seller.

In instances where the Buyer is dissatisfied with product quality or delivery is not made as stipulated, Buyer is guaranteed 100% refund

Anta is a meeting place not a store, all the goods available on the platform are sold and delivered by third party sellers that are neither employed by, nor have any other relationship with, Anta itself. Anta’s business is to give entrepreneurs and sellers a place to reach buyers, and to give buyers access to the largest collection of things for sale while protecting the interests of both parties.
