It is callous, insane, and stupid for anyone to tell an abused individual that his/her marriage is for better or worse.
There is nowhere in the Holy books where domestic violence or infidelity was approved for any form of correction to a partner.
Again, God didn't ordain marriage for a husband to abuse the wife or for the wife to abuse her husband .
If marriage was ordained by God for companionship ;
why should you open your mouth and tell an individual going through physical/emotional/mental/ psychological abuse that their marriage is for better for worse?
Let us not be overzealous that we indirectly encourage domestic violence or marital abuse in homes.
It is not God's will and will never be God's purpose for any marriage.
And for your information, those preaching and asking you to stay all run to take their children away from such marriages. Wait until it happens to them. Just like those preaching against the 'Osu' Caste System in Igboland but won't allow their relative to marry one.
