Are there any methodical records of snake bites and death in Nigeria? If so,what steps are taken to facilitate collection of anti-venom to help prevent fatalities in the invent of bites? How do people live along side dangerous snakes equipped with neurotoxin venom that can stop a man's heart in less than twenty minutes?

With very little precautions and care,yet,little or no fatalities. Does it mean the venomous snakes are going extinct or the people are good in avoiding them?
