In 'Rule Of Concord' generally known as Grammatical Functions, a singular noun goes with a singular verb while a plural noun goes with a plural verb. Singular verb takes the form of plural noun (adds letter 'S' at its end, example is SELLS) while plural verb takes the form of singular noun (does not add letter 'S' at its ends, example is SELL). Woman is a singular noun.

Therefore,

Option A is the correct answer.

No sir.. English is very straightforward. It deals with rules. I actually thought about what immortal said, which is what a Layman would think. It's a trick. If it were that simple,it would have been an insult to grammarians...The who changes it all.
