Our client, an independent oil and gas servicing company with vast experience which cuts across several facets of the oil and gas industry, now has an opening for a Business Development Executive.

Functional Area: Business Development in Oil and Gas industry

Job Profile
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing business plans to achieve company’s business targets and goals.


Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate sound knowledge of the company’s business strategy.
Harness opportunities to sell company’s services/products.
Prospect for and acquire new and financially viable high volume customers
Ensure profiles are built for our customers by identifying immediate and long term goals.
Meet sales targets
Effectively manage accounts assigned to BDE to ensure sales targets are met.
Ensure full payment for all supplies and services
Reconcile customers accounts and ensure proper documentation
Build customer profile by identifying immediate and long term goals
Generate Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO) on assigned accounts.
Effectively manage each customer account to ensure sales targets are fully achieved
Assist in the preparation of tenders where necessary
Prepare up to date reports on activities in the unit and agree on ways forward with the BDM.
Exhibit sound business report writing skills.
Attend presentations to and negotiations with prospective clients.


Key Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in Upstream Oil and Gas Service doing business development/sales.
Bsc., Master’s degree is desirable
Super contacts in the IOCs, EPCs and E&P companies.
In-depth understanding of Business Development/Technical Sales in the Upstream sub sector of Nigeria oil and gas industry
Analytical skills to define and solve problems.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Excellent intelligence gathering skills.
Good documentation skills.
Proven knowledge of tenders preparation.
Passion to deliver
Male candidates are preferred
