Kenya: Election Officials Worried About Voting by Sipcyp(m): 12:23am On Aug 02, 2017
In Kenya, civil society, international observers, and analysts are worried after the assassination of a member of the electoral commission this weekend under mysterious circumstances. All called for an investigation. According to them, the death of the director of the technical center of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) could have consequences on the preparation of the country for the elections.

The death of Chris Msando worries at first practical. The commission lost one of its best experts only a week before the election. A vote should be taken by the new electronic voter identification system and the transmission of results.
